Barça Set to Play First Fixture at Renovated Camp Nou over the weekend
The club confirmed their first game will take place at the partially upgraded Camp Nou over the weekend. The club will host Athletic Bilbao in the Spanish league over two years following their departure so building work could begin.
“Returning home was our dream. Finally, it’s happening. We are back at Spotify Camp Nou.”
Attendance will be limited though over 45,000 attendees will be allowed to watch as per the current authorization. When completed, the Camp Nou is due to hold over 104,000 attendees, a rise from the old capacity. Officials confirmed completed upgrades featured a new players’ tunnel plus modern locker rooms.
