Declan Rice Set-pieces on corner kicks and set-plays were dangerous. Had room to move on the left only to be in an offside position upon receiving with a chance to score. Granted a well-earned substitution after an hour. 6

The star midfielder Played in a high position down the right and put in dirty work. Demonstrated glimpses of brilliance but scuffed a shot over. Replaced in the closing stages for a teammate, his rival, after being booked. 7/10

Jarrod Bowen Was presented with the team's top opening in the opening period, his strike smartly stopped from the Albanian keeper. With Quansah holding position, he had to offer an outlet on the right but his crosses into the box were hit and miss. Replaced with 15 to go. 6/10

Harry Kane The decisive figure scoring 77th and 78th strikes in an England shirt. His first a typical opportunist's goal and the second a classy finish with his head following a clever run from his marker. Aged 32, he’s only getting better and the side have every chance next summer with him leading the line. 8/10

The attacker Had difficulty to make an impact on the left flank. Was presented with a good opening when set up from a teammate but the keeper denied him. His replacement made much more of an impact when substituted. 5
