A individual charged with pursuing Kate McCann apparently recorded her a recorded message which asked: "suppose I am Madeleine?"

The defendant, twenty-four, who witnesses stated has repeatedly asserted she was the vanished Madeleine McCann, and her co-defendant are standing trial accused with stalking Kate and Gerry McCann from June 2022 and February the current year.

On Monday, the tribunal heard call records and information obtained from phones documented Ms Wandelt consistently demanding Madeleine's mother for a DNA test throughout the past two years.

"I do not need money, I possess a existence here in Poland, I only wish to know," the message continued.

The panel was told that via emails, mobile messages and calls, Ms Wandelt requested a genetic test, transmitted early photographs to her phone in a attempt to demonstrate a likeness to Mrs McCann's vanished daughter, and stated to have "memories" from a youth with the McCanns.

An intelligence analyst, an intelligence analyst with Leicestershire Police who compiled the data, advised the court there "didn't appear to be any replies" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt also reached out to acquaintances of the McCanns, as per the communication logs.

On October 9th, 2024, Gerry McCann picked up a phone call from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, saying she had "a wrong number."

On that occasion Ms Wandelt recorded a message on Mrs McCann's answerphone stating "I will continue and I will prove my position."

The court was informed Mrs Spragg developed a association through digital means with Ms Wandelt before assisting her on a trip to the McCanns' residence in that area in December 2024.

Communication data showed Mrs Spragg had communicated via WhatsApp to Mrs McCann to say the media had depicted Ms Wandelt as "emotionally disturbed" but that she deserved to be taken seriously in the period preceding the trip to Rothley, the county, in last December.

The court was told message exchanges between the two accused, in November 2024, planning endeavoring to get Mrs McCann's DNA samples from her bins or from cutlery at a restaurant.
